Halle Bailey’s Beauty Products That Created The Little Mermaid Look

Halle Bailey was recently kind enough to take to Instagram and share the secret beauty routine that started the process of turning the 23 year old actress into the underwater princess, Ariel. She captioned the post, “Please see below, and please tag me if you decide to give it a go. I’d love to see what you create!” Is anyone up for the challenge?

Skincare-

For skin care, Halle started out using the Glossier priming moisturizer, and the Avene eye cream, followed by Glossier Balm Dotcom on the lips.

Halle says that when shooting outside, @blackgirlsunscreen under the foundation and on Halle’s neck was a must!

For Halle’s face makeup, they chose to go with a foundation by Mac Cosmetics Uk for the face and body. Her chosen concealer was by UOMABeauty, accompanied by MAC spiked eyebrows.

For the pop of shine on the eyelids Tom Ford Beauty stepped in with the EmotionProof Eye Color in Gigolo as a base on the lid. Tom Ford Quad in Suspicion – a mixture of the top right and the bottom left all over the lid. The top left color is a spotlight, and the bottom right is to create a definition on the outer corners.

Halle did not use any mascara but instead chose to get her eyelashes done by @blankcanvasbovingdon1 located in London, and @Libby_bushby in Sardinia.

For the cheeks, Halle used Milk makeup cream blush stick in Quickie and Dior Beauty Backstage Universal highlight on the cheekbones. Mac Cork Lip Liner was used for her lips and @chanel.beauty Rouge Allure lipstick in 174 Rouge Angelique.

Makeup artist Katalicreative shared all of this on her Instagram with tips and insights on the makeup process in creating Ariel’s look for The Little Mermaid Movie.  She also shared some words about working with Bailey.  “It was an absolute pleasure working with Halle for the duration of filming, and it was an experience I will never forget.” Check out Katalicreative for more insights on the behind-the-scenes process of Halle’s makeup for Princess Ariel.
