Three books to read this fall

Despite classes being around the corner, I enjoy taking an hour or two out of my day to sit down with some tea and a book. I may not have time to finish it in one sitting as I would during the summer, but I always make some time for some reading. Because of this, I have compiled a three-item list of books I plan on reading in the fall.

More than two years after being detained, Canadian businessman Michael Spavor has been sentenced to 11 years in prison by a Chinese court after being found guilty of spying and illegally providing state secrets to foreign countries. Spavor would also be deported, the court said, but it wasn’t made clear if that would be before or after he has served his prison sentence, according to CNN.
