Oklahoma recently passed a bill that would authorize private Oklahoma citizens to take legal and civil action against abortion providers and receivers to enforce the law. The House of Public Health committee, which is primarily Republican-led, passed the bill early Wednesday morning by a vote of 7-1. One democracy opposed the bill. After being passed by the Public Health Committee, the bill is now moving to a vote in the House.
