2023 NBA Playoffs Schedule

As the college basketball postseason is wrapping up, the world’s premier basketball league has reached the beginning of the ever-so-exciting playoffs. 

Sixteen teams will face off in four rounds of action to determine the 2023 champion. The top six teams in each conference automatically qualified for the playoffs, while the teams that finished the regular season in 7th through 10th places advanced to the NBA’s play-in tournament to determine the final two playoff teams in each conference. This tournament will start on April 11 and conclude on April 14. 

2023 AT&T Play-In Tournament Schedule 

Tuesday, April 11 

Game 1: HAWKS VS. HEAT | 7:30 p.m. ET

Winner earns Eastern Conference 7th seed and advance to NBA playoffs

Game 2: LAKERS VS. TIMBERWOLVES | 10 p.m. ET

Winner earns Western Conference 7th seed and advance to NBA playoffs

Wednesday, April 12

Game 3: RAPTORS VS. BULLS | 7 p.m. ET

Winner plays loser of East Conference 7/8 game

Game 4: PELICANS VS. THUNDER| 10 p.m. ET

Winner plays loser of West Conference 7/8 game

Friday, April 14

Game 5: EAST LOSER 7/8 VS. EAST WINNER 9/10 | 9:30 p.m. or 10 p.m. ET

Game 6: WEST LOSER 7/8 VS. WEST WINNER 9/10 | 9:30 p.m. or 10 p.m. ET

The first round of the playoffs will start on April 15. The NBA Finals are anticipated to start June 1 with Game 7– if the series even reaches that length– scheduled for June 18. All NBA Finals games will be available on ABC and the ESPN App.

Saturday, April 15

NETS VS. 76ers | 1 p.m. ET (ESPN)

EAST 7th SEED VS. CELTICS | 3:30 p.m. ET (ESPN)

KNICKS VS. CAVALIERS | 6 p.m. ET (ESPN)

WARRIORS VS. KINGS | 8:30 p.m. (ABC)

Sunday, April 16

EAST 8th SEED VS.  BUCKS | TBD

WEST 8th SEED VS. NUGGETS | TBD

WEST 7th SEED VS. GRIZZLIES | TBD

CLIPPERS VS. SUNS | TBD
