Alton Mason made history in 2019 when he walked the Chanel runway as the first Black male model. When he was 17 years old, he relocated to Los Angeles to attend the American Musical and Dramatic Academy to study dance and theater. He then performed as Diddy’s backup dancer at the BET Awards. He soon received his first casting call via Instagram for a fashion show, and he walked in Kanye West’s Yeezy Season 3 presentation. Mason has since appeared in various high-end advertising campaigns for companies including Gucci, Hugo Boss, Off-White, Tom Ford, Fendi, and Louis Vuitton, as well as walked in numerous additional fashion shows worldwide.
