Alton Mason is a model and also a dancer. He was discovered back in 2015 and went on to become the first black male model to ever walk for Chanel! His mother was a former model, and his father was a professional basketball player; his father often played overseas because of both of his parents’ unusual jobs, he has grown up in many countries, including Belgium and Greece, but his hometown is considered to be located in Arizona.

When Alton was 17 studying at the American Musical Dramatic Arts Academy in Los Angeles back in 2015, he got scouted on Instagram and presumed it to be a “joke,” he told W magazine. Since then, Mason has gone on to do some significant modeling gigs. One of his first really big ones was for Kanye West Yeezy’s season two collection at New York Fashion Week in February 2016. He has now done many amazing modeling gigs, such as Louis Vuitton, Off-White, Preston, Gucci, and even Chanel! Mason is represented by State Management in New York and IMG worldwide.
