Alton Mason is a popular African American model. Born in Nebraska, Mason had an early look into the modeling industry thanks to his mother. Mason developed for dance and continued his studies at the American Musical and Dramatic Academy in Los Angeles, California. 

 

Eventually his talent led him to be signed onto a modeling agency after dancing for Diddy at the 2015 BET Awards. Two years later, Mason made his runway debut on the Gucci Fall 2017 show.

 

Mason has modeled for many notable fashion brands and editorials including GQ,  Versace, Fenty x Puma, Michael Kors, Puma, Vogue, Philipp Plein, Jeremy Scott, Tom Ford, Vanity Fair, Valentino, Fendi, Karl Lagerfeld, Louis Vuitton, and many more. Additionally, Mason became the first-ever black male model to walk for Chanel in 2018.

 

Mason is currently, considered one of the world’s few male supermodels.
