Are Platform Converse Really Worth it?

Whether its high or low top, platform converse is becoming more and more popular. I mean, what’s not to love? You can dress them up or down and add height to any look.

The best part about this shoe, is that it comes in several different prints and colors. Black and white seem to be the most popular, but this doesn’t mean you can’t go for more color with this shoe.

The platform converse shoe has different pluses and minuses that you should consider before investing in a pair. First, many users have stated that they are a bit on the heavier side and take some time to break in. The platform bottom adds some weight but still looks great. After you break them in, these shoes are incredibly comfortable.

On the plus side, you can wear these shoes with almost anything. Dresses, sweatpants, shorts, jeans, you name it. Additionally, it not only makes you look taller, but gives off the same put together look that platform Doc Martens gives off. Walking in these platform shoes is also a lot more fun than your regular pair of non-platform sneakers.

Along with the traditional Converse platform shoe, this infamous shoe brand also offers the Platform Converse Canvas Wedge High Top Lugged Boot. This shoe has more of a “boot” look to it, featuring a sole with more ridges.

With many companies hopping on the platform shoe trend, it is safe to say that Converse did it right. People can’t seem to get enough of the classic sneaker that contains a fun twist. So the bottom line is that yes, investing in a pair of platform converse is 100% worth it.
