Ariana Grande Teases New Beauty Brand Coming This Month

No, you’re not dreaming. Ariana Grande has posted on her Instagram a teaser for her new makeup line, R.E.M. Beauty. Grande herself is dressed in a ‘60s inspired space cowboy outfit and holding a large lipstick tube. The teaser comes after the main announcement last month. Grande has been working on the brand for two years and is collaborating with Forma Brands, best known for their work with Morphe and Lipstick Queen.

Not many details have been released about what is dropping in November, other than that it will be launched as a series of drops rather than a large collection. Each drop is known as a “Chapter.” The first, titled “Ultraviolet,” will focus on the eyes and include products such as liquid and glitter eyeshadows, eyeliner pens, mascara, lipsticks, and “tingly” lip glosses.

In what some may claim to be an oversaturated market, the makeup world has seen multiple celebrities throughout the past few years start their own makeup lines. Grande has stated R.E.M. Beauty was not created with the intention of solely making money and joining a culture trend, but rather an extension of her creativity and music. In an interview with Allure, Grande said, “you can never have enough makeup, just like you can never have enough music.”

Fermented Beauty Products To Be All The Rage In 2022

Since the pandemic, people have opted for what experts have started to call “skinimalism.” Instead of wearing layers upon layers of makeup, many began switching to minimalist and holistic beauty practices in order to protect their skin from environmental factors like pollution, tobacco, and the sun. This also gives the opportunity to allow your skin to strengthen and restore itself. How are people doing this? By using fermented beauty products, a practice extremely popular in Asia, specifically in the Korean and Japanese beauty markets.

    Traditional Lipsticks Are Done

Nothing is more annoying than spending fifteen minutes making your lipstick look just right, just to have it smeared all over your face after taking a sip of coffee or a bit of a bagel. Even the top of the line, most expensive lipsticks in the stores don’t seem to stay on for more than a few hours. Why even bother with lipstick? Luckily, lipstick is falling out of favor, and in its place comes the revolutionary lip stain.

Keep Your Hair Protected from Heat

Most people have heard that heat is bad for hair; It causes dryness, damage, and split ends. However, nothing can substitute the look of a blow dry or a curling wand, so how can you get the look you want and still keep your hair healthy?

    Skip the Pedicures

No doubt, pedicures are relaxing and a great weekend activity. They include: cleaning, exfoliation, grooming, and massaging, but pedicures can cause more harm than good in the long term.
