Music producer, Austin Millz, was born on October 30, 1988, in Harlem, NY. Austin was heavily influenced by the music-centric environment of New York City from a very young age. From the jump, young Millz would collect vinyl records and play both piano and saxophone in his teenage years. His sound is a mix of jazz, hip-hop, and dance fused together, layering soul samples over hard-hitting drums with riffs and saxophone.

Millz’s first break came in 2006 when Loud Records/SRC A&R and legendary producer Sean C. heard his production and quickly began to mentor him. Both worked together to perfect Millz’s sound and craft. Despite already having a promising career in music, Millz decided to continue his education at Penn State University to earn his undergraduate degree in Journalism. Upon graduating in 2010, Millz returned to Harlem to pursue music full-time.

Since then, Millz has worked with artists like Jim Jones, Maybach Music Group, G.O.O.D Music, Walem Troy Ave, and many more.
