There are big COVID-19 issues surrounding the Copa America with Brazil’s health ministry announcing 41 new cases of COVID-19 consisting of people involved in the tournament. The people consist of players, coaches, and tournament workers.
The tournament was originally supposed to be held in Argentina and Colombia, but they lost their hosting privilege because of the increase of COVID cases in their countries.
