Grace Lawton

Grace Lawton

Bio: Grace Lawton is a senior at the University of Connecticut from Madison, Connecticut studying Communications and Psychology. In her free time, she likes to eat, swim, and go to the beach with friends. Ever since she was little, she searched for ways to experiment using creative outlets. Alongside pursuing acting camps or her passion for singing, she began to write anything from short stories to songs. When she reached high school, she only found herself using her writing skills to crank out papers or reports. She even received a perfect score on her SAT Writing section! But when she entered college she decided to put her imaginative but well-developed experience in writing to the test in a club called “The Odyssey.” The writing club effectively prepared her to challenge her writing abilities which now benefits her performance at NYC Tastemakers. NYC Tastemakers is the perfect opportunity for her to not only do something she enjoys but work with an amazing and talented team. She is so excited to be a writer this summer for them and she cannot wait to see what the future holds!
