Bio: Melody Smith is a second year Media Studies major at Emerson College. She is from New Jersey where she spent a lot of time with her friends and family. She loves learning, and spends a lot of time analyzing film, television. She loves exploring the world of entertainment and how it connects to people. Aside from her schoolwork, she writes in her freetime-- mostly creatively. In the future, she would like to explore PR and Marketing. Senators have agreed on an infrastructure bill, and it’s going to be a massive one. The $1.2 trillion bipartisan bill was announced on Sunday after months of negotiations.

The plan would pour money into the country’s physical infrastructure including roads, bridges, electric vehicle charging stations, replacements for lead water pipes, railways, and accessible high-speed internet. It could be considered the one of the largest public works projects in years. It includes $550 billion new spending over the next five years.
