Senators have agreed on an infrastructure bill, and it’s going to be a massive one. The $1.2 trillion bipartisan bill was announced on Sunday after months of negotiations.
The plan would pour money into the country’s physical infrastructure including roads, bridges, electric vehicle charging stations, replacements for lead water pipes, railways, and accessible high-speed internet. It could be considered the one of the largest public works projects in years. It includes $550 billion new spending over the next five years.
