Best Red-Carpet Looks from the 2023 Academy Awards

While Everything, Everywhere all at Once was the big winner in the 2023 season of the Oscars, and we wept tears of joy at the long-deserved awards for cinema legends Brendan Fraser and Jamie Lee Curtis, we were also overtaken by some of the greatest fashion performances on the red carpet. 

White was the color chosen for the season, with actresses going for minimal yet romantic white gowns. We also saw some great, more colorful choices like blue, yellow, and pink and bold accessories for the men of the night, like florals and heeled boots.  

Below are some of the best-dressed celebrities to walk the red carpet at the 2023 Academy Awards.

Jessica Chastain in Gucci

The eyes of Tammy, actress, and Academy Award winner, looked sensational in a sequin gown by design house Gucci.

Austin Butler in Saint Laurent

The Best Actor nominee for Elvis went for a classic black tuxedo by Saint Laurent with a double-breasted jacket with matching tuxedo trousers.

Ana de Armas in Louis Vuitton

The Best Actress nominee for her role in Blonde looked fabulous in an embellished  champagne gown by Louis Vuitton

Kerry Condon in Versace

Kerry Condon brought a pop of color to the Red Carpet with this yellow Atelier Versace dress styled with a pair of Christian Louboutin.

Michelle Williams in Chanel

The five-time Oscar-nominated actress wore a custom white Chanel dress with a sheer cape layer and hidden high heels that, paired with her pixie hair cut, gave her a positively angelic look. 

Michelle Yeoh in Dior

Oscar-winner Michelle Yeoh looked stunning in this floor-length white gown by Dior Haute Couture.

Cate Blanchett in Louis Vuitton

Cate Blanchett opted for a stunning custom-made draped silk ensemble with a pale blue top from Louis Vuitton

Nicole Kidman in Armani

Nicole Kidman also took on the sequin trend, wearing this black Armani Privé with a thigh-high slit and large floral applique details.
