Bio

Caeleb Dressel is a swimmer from Green Cove Springs, Florida. He attended college at the University of Florida, where he was a collegiate swimmer. He is representing Team USA at the Tokyo Olympics, where he has already won numerous gold medals, and the count is only expected to go up.

Dressel first competed in the Olympics at the Rio Games in 2016, bringing home two gold medals in team relays. He’s taken a huge step since then, winning seven gold medals at the 2017 World Championships, and six at each of the 2018 and 2019 Worlds, as well.

Dressel has been described as the next big thing in swimming, with many likening him to Michael Phelps, saying he can be as good, if not better, than one of the greatest swimmers of all time.

At the 2020 Tokyo Olympics, Dressel has stepped up in a major way. He won his first individual career gold medal, winning the men’s 100 M Freestyle competition. His medal count is only expected to grow, as these Games look to be the beginning of some legendary performances for the talented swimmer!
