Karla Camila Cabello Estrabao, known as Camila Cabello, is a Cuban-born American singer and songwriter. In 2012, her music career launched after auditioning for the X-Factor, where she joined a girl group, Fifth Harmony as the lead singer. Fifth Harmony released one EP and two studio albums before Cabello announced her departure from the group in December of 2016.

When she launched her solo music career, Camila Cabello released two hit singles: Shawn Mendes’s “I Know What You Did Last Summer” and Machine Gun Kelly’s “Bad Things. She also has featured in songs with other notable artists like Cashmere Cat, Pitbull, and J Balvin. During the launch of her solo career, Cabello became an official Guess girl, starring as the face of their 2017 Fall campaign. She also performed as an opening act for Bruno Mar’s 24K Magic World Tour.

In August 2017, Cabello released her hit single, “Havana.” This song scored #1 on Hot 100 Billboard, #1 in the UK official charts, and over 80 #1’s on iTunes. Just eleven months into her solo career, she won a total of 18 awards, became a multi-platinum artist with over 50 certifications, sold over 17 million units, and gained over 4 billion combined YouTube and Spotify streams.
