Camila Falquez a Mexican-Colombian portrait photographer. Born in Mexico City by Colombian parents, Falquez immigrated to the United States after growing up in Spain. Falquez found her self in Brooklyn, New York where she eventually began to develop her professional photography career.

 

Falquez’s photographs are surreal and often use bold colors and stark lighting. Her portraits mainly revolve around social justice and gender issues, with her main goal to empower those she captures with her camera.
