Born in Colorado in 1994, Casil McArthur has thrived for over a decade in the fashion industry. His name went global when in 2020 he became the first trans man to be on the cover of GQ France. He was then awarded Mr. Vogue in September 2020, which saw him sharing his Cinderella story from child female model to transitioning into one of the top male models.

Casil has challenged binary roles in the fashion industry and, with over 41.3k Instagram followers, he likes to use his notoriety to support the LGBTQIA+ community. He tells the story of how when he was 16, casting agents would say that he was “an inch too big in the hips”. Ironically, “the only thing that fixed that was testosterone,” he’s said.
