Charlie Puth is a New Jersey native and has been practicing music for most of his life. His professional career took off after his appearance on the Ellen DeGeneres Show in 2011 after DeGeneres noticed his YouTube cover channel. While he sings and writes most of his own music, he also produces music and writes songs with other artists.

“Attention,” singer currently has two studio albums and has announced on Twitter that he is in the process of working on his third. Many of his successes have come from collaborations with other artists, including “We Don’t Talk Anymore,” with Selena Gomez in 2016 and “See You Again,” with Wiz Khalifa in 2015. The latter won a number of awards, such as Top Hot 100 Song from Billboard and Best Song with Critics’ Choice Movie Awards.

In 2021, Puth has found a strong following on TikTok, which he has used to create an intimate music-writing experience with fans. His posts give insight into how he electronically produces music with instruments that he does not physically play.

Puth was able to overcome bullying in school and become and international superstar. He seeks to inspire other young musicians to follow in his path.
