Charlotte de Witte is best known for her “dark and stripped-back” brand of minimal techno and acid techno music. Previously she performed under the alias Raving George and is the founder of the label, KNTXT.

Born in Ghent, Belgium, she discovered the underground nightclub scene where she was drawn to electronic music. She adopted the alias Raving George to avoid negative preconceptions against female DJs and released her debut in 2013. In 2015, de Witte started using her real name.

The Belgian native has performed at various electronic music events including Boiler Room Printworks and in 2020 at Tomorrowland which was held online virtually due to COVID-19. She is The World’s No. 1 Techno DJ in DJ Mag‘s ‘100 DJs 2022’ and No. 14 in the 2022 main poll.
