Professional Basketball player Damien Lamonte Ollie Lillard Sr. was born on July 15, 1990, in Oakland, California. Shortly after graduating from Oakland High School, Lillard received a basketball scholarship to Weber State University. While playing basketball for the Weber State University Wildcats, Lillard earned third-team All-American honors in 2012. Shortly after this, Lillard was drafted in 2012 to the Portland Trail Blazers.

While starting his career with the Portland Trail Blazers, Lillard won the NBA Rookie of the Year Award. Shortly after, he signed a $120 million contract for five years with his team. He soon became one of the fastest basketball players in NBA history. Lillard currently holds the record for the fastest player to score 10,000 in professional basketball. On top of that, Lillard is the recipient of the ‘Magic Johnson Award.’
