The Taco Bell hotel opened up in August 2019 in Palm Springs, California, right after the highly popularized “Coachella Fest.”
Taco Bell, the chain known for its Mexican pizza and Doritos locos tacos, has decided to open a Taco Bell-themed Hotel that also features a gourmet edition of the fast-food restaurant. As of now, it is most known as a pop-up hotel. It is taking over an existing hotel that was once very known in the Palm Springs area as the “V Palm Springs.” One of the advertised experiences includes DJs, hot yoga, cocktail hours, moving screenings, branded mani-pedis, pool parties, and an array of Taco Bell dishes with a gourmet twist not available to the public.
Regarding prices, the rooms range from $169 per night for a room with a king bed and no pool view, to $299 for a double bed option with a view of the water. The prices are slightly higher than the regular V Hotel rates as it would’ve cost $140 for a standard king room and $220 for a double bed with a pool view.
The Decor in the hotel is decked out in Taco Bell-themed touches. Throw pillows and pool floats are designed to look like the infamous hot sauce packets, and the walls are draped in Taco Bell-themed graphics. The rest of the hotel is mainly decorated in average hotel decor left behind from the V Palm Springs hotel.
As of now, reservations are no longer available as they are fully booked until the end of next year. So, if you snagged a reservation before it became fully booked, you’re one of the lucky ones who get to experience The Bell.
Taco Bell plans to open more hotels across the country, including in Las Vegas, where they have the exclusive Taco Bell Bar.
