Some eagle-eyed viewers may have seen more than they bargained for during Sunday night’s Oscars broadcast when American Idol judge Jennifer Lopez seemed to pop out of her very low-cut gown while presenting awards with fellow bombshell Cameron Diaz. The custom-designed Zuhair Murad gown was dazzling, with its shimmery gold color, long sleeves with slits on both shoulders and a plunging neckline that reminded some people of her legendary 2000 Grammy awards green Versace dress.
She was certainly tempting fate in such a revealing outfit, but J-Lo’s stylist Mariel Haenn went on Twitter to assure everyone that this much-rumored “nip slip” is nothing more than a false alarm. “”The Oscar dress was custom made for JLo…The dress fit perfectly to her every inch,” Haenn tweeted. “There were cups built in and in NO chance that there were any, how do you say? ‘slips.’…jokes on everyone who thought they saw something!”
As of recently, I’ve been seeing a lot of photos on Instagram of celebrities wearing all back, normally with a puffer or workmen jacket; with jeans that lead to tall black boots. It would be jarring to see this if it weren’t for the fact that I already knew this would be happening. Why did I think this? Because we saw Kanye West wear this fit first in early December when it actually was a bit jarring.
