Surprising fans everywhere, Drake has dropped his seventh studio album, ‘Honestly,
Nevermind on Friday. On Thursday afternoon, the rapper announced on Instagram the
release of his new album, revealing the cover art with the album’s title. His new LP
album includes 14 songs, and was executively produced by Drake, Noah “40”
Shebib,Oliver El-Khatib, Noel Cadastre, and Black Coffee.
The rapper’s new album includes a feature from 21 Savage, who appears on the closing
song, “Jimmy Cooks.” Drake also announced that his new album is dedicated to the late
Virgil Abloh, the artistic director of Louis Vuitton’s menswear collection.
“I let my humbleness turn to numbness at times letting time go by knowing I got the
endurance to catch it another time,” Drake wrote on the Apple Music page for his new
album. “I work with every breath in my body cause it’s the work not air that makes me
feel alive.”
Drake’s new LP joins his long list of highly loved studio records, including ‘Scorpion’,
‘Views’, and ‘Nothing Was the Same’. Drake most recently appeared on Jack Harlow’s
song “Churchill Downs.”
