I’ve always focused on natural, zero-waste, and sustainable products. I care a lot about what I put on my skin and what I eat. From deodorants to fancy makeup, here are some eco-friendly products taking over 2023.
Trader Joe’s Reusable Bags
At Trader Joe’s they have adorable reusable bags that are an excellent price. Plastic bags suck anyway, they always break and cause a mess, clutter up our earth, and you look way cuter carrying around a tote! I have this exact bag and try to bring it every time I grocery shop.
Izzy Zero Waste Beauty
We love our eyelashes to look fluffy and bold, and Izzy’s products bring the A-game.
Taking over zero waste beauty, there are so many options, from high-quality mascara to blush and concealer. Refill, Reuse, and repeat.
Reusable Cotton Rounds
You can find these reusable cotton rounds everywhere. From Amazon and Etsy to Target. I use face rounds to remove mascara and apply toner to my face, saving money, minimizing clutter, and reducing waste. A pack of them can cost around 10 dollars.
Argan Oil
Argan oil is my absolute favorite. It is often used in hair care and skin care to reduce wrinkles, promote hair growth, and be an anti-aging product. It is vegan and a natural oil rich in fatty acids and antioxidants.
Dr. Bronner’s Pure-Castile Bar Soap
I stumbled across Dr. Bronner’s pretty young at REI, and safe to say it is still one of my favorites. It’s a simple soap that has many uses. The packaging is entirely biodegradable, and the soap itself has many benefits. It is natural, non-toxic, and cruelty-free. It is also one of the safest soaps for use in the river or lake when camping/backpacking. All of this said, Dr. Bronner’s is one of the most environmentally friendly products available.
