Wendy’s has officially begun the national rollout of its latest sandwich: the Pretzel Bacon Cheeseburger. Bet your mouth is watering already! The unique burger is made with warm cheddar cheese sauce, thick-sliced bacon, lettuce, tomatoes, red onion, smoky honey mustard and a pretzel bun. “This is the most anticipated new product in recent history,” said Craig Bahner, Wendy’s chief marketing officer. None of Wendy’s competitors are serving sandwiches on a pretzel bun, so for the moment they have cornered that market. But if you want to try one, you’d better hurry. Wendy’s Pretzel Bacon Cheeseburger is scheduled to disappear from menus at the end of the summer.
