Bio
Glass Animals is a popular alternative/indie British rock band. The band was formed in 2010 by Dave Bayley, Drew MacFarlane, Edmund Irwin-Singer, and Joe Seaward during their time at St Edward’s School in Oxford.

In the years leading up to their first tour, Glass Animals released three extended plays Leaflings, Black Mambo, and Glass Animals and signed on to Kaya Kaya Records, a subsidiary and independent label of XL Recordings.

The band saw their first major tour in 2014, which sent the band to the U.S. for the Southwest Festival in Texas. Shortly after the tour the band released their debut album Zaba and promoted their new album with guests performances on the American talk shows on Late Night with Seth Meyers and Late Show with David Letterman.

The band continued to see success following the release of their second studio album How to Be a Human Being, with their single  Life Itself peaking at number 14 on the Billboard Alternative Songs chart.

Additionally the bands other singles Youth and later their 2021 mega-hit Heat Waves were included in the popular EA video game series FIFA 17 and FIFA 21’s soundtracks respectively.

Overall, Glas Animals has released four studio albums and with over 26.2 million listeners on Spotify alone, the band’s success is far from over.
