Goodhood Launches New Apparel Line

East London-based multi-brand style retailer, Goodhood, is set to launch Goodhood Worldwide, a new in-house label. The collection includes a variety of slogan T-shirts, outerwear, sweaters, and equipment priced at anywhere between 15 and 130 pounds. However, this is not the first time Goodhood has introduced its first in-house brand. In 2013, Goodhood introduced Goods; however, the scope of the line was a lot smaller.

Based in 2007, the brand started with founders Jo Swindle and Kylie Stewart, who met once that had been working at the store Levi’s. Shortly after, the brand opened its doors in 2007 with the mission to display goods from across the world. Since then, they are said to pride themselves in making sure the design, quality, and creativity are their utmost priority to ensure quality shopping for the buyer.

Cofounder of Goodhood, Jo Swindle, said in a statement describing the retailer’s start, “To be Trustworthy, we needed to do our line properly from the beginning; however we bought sidetracked by working at a retail retailer. However, now we lastly have the infrastructure that may give Kyle and me the time to have the ability to work on it. We had been each designer earlier than when we opened Goodhood, so it’s a pure factor for us to do.” Swindle defined.

Being that the brand prides itself on providing goods from across the globe, with this new personal brand, they want to make sure that the goods that they will be providing are accessible and still align with their original mission statement. Swindle states, “We needed it to be as accessible as potential. Once we began the shop, we had been very acutely aware that though we promote some high-end issues. We needed it to be a democratic retailer so that we had been providing issues that somebody on a low price range may purchase in addition to an even bigger price range.” Swindle says, “We’re focusing on quintessential prospects, who’re native to the realm and like-minded individuals who share the identical sort of sensibility and could be into what we’re doing.”

Goodhood provides supplies from manufacturers including Aries, Beams Plus, Junya Watanabe Man, Nicholas Daley, Soulland, and Toga.
