Reggaeton Artist of the Month for June 2022
Cofounder of the Colombian hip-hop group Chocquibtown, MC and producer, Gloria Martinez (aka Goyo) was born in the Colombian pacific coast. Her band Chocquibtown has become one of the most internationally known Latin American bands, mixing folklore from the pacific coast region, with urban sounds. Nominated several times for the Latin Grammys, in 2010 they won an award for the bands song “De donde vengo yo.” In 2011, they worked with Diego Torres and Ivette Sangalo in singing the America’s Cup hymn “Creo en America.”
Goyo has officially marked the start of her solo career 20 years after co-founding Chocquibtown with her new single “Na Na Na.” More recently, she released her new song “Otra Noche” in March.
