Guardian Angels Animal Protection & WABC Team Together to Find Tuxedo the Cats Killer

Last week a beautiful black & white cat named “Tuxedo” and dubbed the “Mayor of NYCHA’s Breukelen Houses” was viciously killed by two pit bulls egged on by their sadistic owners.   Tuxedo had lived on the grounds since 2011 and was part of a managed feral colony cared for by cat rescuer Latonya Walker.  Tuxedo was taunted by the unknown assailants walking their pit bulls and tried to escape by climbing up a tree.  The unhinged pit bull owners then proceeded to knock Tuxedo out of the tree with a stick and when he fell sadistically unleashed the pit bulls on the elderly cat.  Tuxedo sadly died from his injuries and the assailants ran away and are now being sought.

Unfortunately many of those living in the complex are afraid to talk to police so the Guardian Angels Animal Protection have been on scene distributing wanted posters and speaking with residents attempting to find the sick couple who caused Tuxedo’s death.  In furtherance of bringing these people to justice, John Catsimatidis, on behalf of WABC has offered a reward of $1,000 to whoever identifies the wanted couple so that they face justice for this heinous act.  Mr. Catsimatidis has also committed to continually support such efforts by offering rewards for any such future occurrences.  And the Guardian Angels remain committed to follow through on this effort until the suspects are captured.
