This weekend once again as happens each month a full scale battle which you can see in the video will take place in downtown Portland. On one side is Antifa and the other side are the Proud Boys. It is not a reenactment of medieval battles, it is the real deal. The police vacate the area and all hell breaks loose.
The only ones trying to keep the peace are the Guardian Angels. They have earned the respect over the years from all sides of this ongoing street battle. They have the respect of the police but also of BLM. They have the respect of Antifa and the Proud Boys. No one else has earned that kind of street respect. They are led by Lisa Campos who has been with the Guardian Angels for close to 35 years. Most of their other members are women. No chapter faces the dangers that they encounter on a daily and nightly basis. Saturday there is scheduled another all-out battle. When you look at it you say, “this can’t possibly be in America 2020” but it is. While others retreat, hide or flee the Guardian Angels go right in to the belly of the beast. They honor our Guardian Angels tradition every day. So if you think you have it rough wherever you are in the world, look at this.
