The coronavirus is preparing to attack New Yorkers for a second time. Many have already left because of crime and the pandemic. We wish them the best and hope one day they might return. But in the meantime the Guardian Angels of NYC have been through this before. We know what to do. We recruit, we train and we patrol. We fill the void which the government no longer can do. If it requires going into the belly of the beast to stop rioting and looting we are ready. If it means helping the homeless and the EDP’s it’s just part of what we do. But the most important message we send out is that “If We Work Together as a Community, We Can Improve and Not Move.” Our presence gives hope to those who are ready to give up. Our history has shown that we will not surrender nor retreat. The Guardian Angels have for decades led in the fight for what’s right and are committed to doing so for decades to come.
