Because the NYPD has been defunded and is now reactive when an attacker like this recent “HAMMER MAN” strikes the GA seizes the initiative. We go Into the streets and subways and swarm the area looking for the suspect. We hand out and post hundreds of fliers with the picture and info. of those wanted. For 48 straight hours after the attack the Guardian Angels were able to extract the info. from the neighborhood and the arrest was made by the NYPD. This is how we fill the public safety void in NYC that has taken place.

HAMMER ATTACK IN WASHINGTON HEIGHTS
An unhinged assailant randomly struck a straphanger in the back of the head with a hammer as he waited for a Manhattan train. The man was on the southbound A train platform at the 175th Street station in Washington Heights at 11 a.m. Sunday when a stranger came up from behind and attacked. “I’m gonna f–k someone up,” the suspect declared. The victim, 46, went to the booth clerk for help.
The suspect took off and remained at large Tuesday.
