Because of the CORONA VIRUS Scare some chinese are being harassed if they are seen wearing masks. Some people and sometimes teenagers are confronting them and verbally abusing and threatening them. To call the NYPD is a waste of time because they tell the chinese there is nothing that they can do. That’s why they have asked us to patrol Chinatown. In addition there are many homeless people and EDP’s who are harassing tourists and visitors to the area. Chinese Businesses and Restaurants have less traffic and patrons coming in. The Yellow Cabs are beginning to avoid the area. Our presence is to reassure the Chinese Community that they have the Guardian Angels as their friends and their protectors in their time of need.
