This past week Keiji Oda, the Guardian Angels International Director, flew into NYC for a week’s visit. He told us what was happening internationally with our chapters. Naturally some of them have been affected by the lockdowns in the countries but everyone was trying to do something within the rules of what their countries had established.
Keiji went on patrol with our newest groups and was immediately stunned at how empty and dead parts of NYC were during this pandemic. He saw firsthand the work that we’re doing while we fill the void of what the police are no longer doing. He was very impressed with our newest members and leaders in our various patrols throughout Manhattan. This week Keiji returns to the Guardian Angels in Japan and will share his experiences with them and our fellow Guardian Angels all throughout the world.
