Lululemon is known for their quality workout clothes and for promoting a healthy lifestyle. Although they are also known for being expensive, people can’t seem to get enough of this brand. It’s almost as if this brand is its own aesthetic.
With the news that Lululemon has seen a decrease in sales due to the pandemic, it begs the question of whether this brand is losing the hype. Will we one day see no more of their infamous reusable bags?
The quality of the clothing is the reason their workout clothes can last years. Despite this, many people have expressed that it feels like Lululemon used to be more of an aesthetic because everyone had it.
I personally believe that there are plenty of affordable workout clothes with the same quality. While they are not name brand, they do the job. Having to pay absurd amounts of money for workout clothing shows how you must pay more for the name brand to fit in.
In conclusion, no I do not think that Lululemon has lost all its hype. While there may be other brands that offer great alternatives, Lululemon will continue to be a name brand that people have to get their hands on. People know and trust this brand, so why change the status quo?
