Jasmine Thomas is a professional WNBA player and guard for the Connecticut Sun. After being drafted in 2011 by the Seattle Storm, Jasmine would be traded to the Washington Mystics and then the Atlanta Dream before eventually playing for the Sun as their starting point guard. With the Sun, Thomas achieved new career-highs in scoring, assists, and field goal shooting, averaging 11.7 ppg, 5.1 ppg while shooting 40% from the field. In 2017, the steadily-improving WNBA guard was voted for the first time into that year’s WNBA All-Star Game; there, she would go on to shatter her own career records. Jasmine Thomas has since re-signed with the Sun on numerous occasions, and most recently helped her team to the WNBA Finals in 2019 for the first time since 2005. A member of the LGBT community, Jasmine Thomas has been married to Connecticut Sun teammate and fellow guard Natisha Hideman since 2021.
