When it comes to celebrity gossip, no one tells it like it is quite like Joan Rivers. The comedienne and TV host has unleashed a new round of brutally-honest opinions in her latest book, Diary of a Mad Diva. Rivers doesn’t hold any punches. She flings some truly nasty insults at the likes of Jennifer Aniston, Tyra Banks, Lena Dunham, Peter Dinklage and Angelina Jolie. She even finds the time to be mean to historical figures like Anne Frank and Jackie Kennedy. And not to be left out, Rivers saves a few choice words for herself, using at least one four-letter term you wouldn’t repeat in mixed company. Diary of a Mad Diva is an endless string of jokes and insults that can be entertaining but at the end of the day, is just exhausting. Maybe for her next book, she’ll shock us all and play nice.
