Jungle Cruise: A Flop?

The new Disney movie, Jungle Cruise was a pleasant surprise. While I originally had low expectations for this movie, Emily Blunt and The Rock, killed it on the big screen. Their characters, Lily and Skipper, take on a daring adventure through the jungle to uncover the ultimate treasure

This movie features the daring adventures of Lily Houghton and Frank Wolf, who are trying to find a tree that holds the power to heal. After they are met by other people who also want the tree, they risk their lives together in the Amazon. Full of adventures and plot twists, the storyline is genius.

While it only came out on July 30, this movie already has great reviews. It is hard to deny that Dwayne Johnson and Blunt make an iconic duo. The CGI work is incredible and makes you feel as if you are in the jungle. Additionally, the mix of comedy, adventure, and romance makes this film great from start to finish.

Overall, this movie is a must-watch. While it is not what I expected, this movie features great acting and is a fun twist to the iconic Jungle Cruise ride at Disneyland in California. The many twists and turns that the characters face will leave you at the edge of your seat the whole time. You can watch this film in theaters or buy it for $30 off Disney+.
