Kathleen Hanhee Kye is one of South Korea’s most popular modern designers known for her KYE brand. Born in Detroit Michigan, Kathleen moved to South Korea at age three. Eventually after developing a love for fashion she traveled overseas and studied at the Central Saint Martins College of Art and Design in London.

Kathleen debuted her brand at the Seoul Fashion Week in 2013 and made an appearance at the New York Fashion Week in 2014.

Since then, Katlene and her brand have collaborated with many famous companies and celebrities including Kanye West, Universal Studios, Lady Gaga, Shu Uemura, Adidas, and Kourtney Kardashian.

According to W Magazine, many of her shows have acted as launching pads for some of Korea’s top models. Kathlene has become one of the major players in South Korea’s modern fashion industry.
