Kylie Cosmetics Teases New Lip Products

Kylie Jenner’s makeup company, Kylie Cosmetics, rose to popularity in 2015 with the launch of Kylie Lip Kits, a liquid lipstick and lip liner set. Six years later, the company has reached 25 million followers on Instagram.

Kylie Cosmetics has partnered with several other celebrities for makeup collections, including members of Kylie’s own family. Recently, Kylie worked with famous model and sister Kendall Jenner to create the line Kendall by Kylie Cosmetics. Their makeup collection sold out on the Kylie Cosmetics site in 24 hours.

In 2018, Kylie Cosmetics began selling their products at Ulta Beauty. The brand is known for pop-up shops located inside Topshops, where Kylie often does meet and greets with fans.

The brand deleted all of its Instagram pictures in early May and posted a polaroid photo of Kylie with the caption “something is coming.” Since then, only two photos have been added to the account. One includes a video of packaging for a new lip kit product. The caption advertises the new product as “lightweight” and “smudge resistant,” and guarantees “8 hour wear.”

The most recent post shows Kylie applying her new “high gloss” product, which will be “available in 30 shades, vegan, non-sticky,” and “gently soften lips” with “the most beautiful mirror shine finish.”

In regard to a product release date, the Kylie Cosmetics Instagram says that the new collection is “#comingsoon.” Fans of Kylie’s makeup line will have to follow her social media closely to remain up to date on the products’ availability, as her 2015 lip kits were famous for selling out in a matter of hours.
