L’Impératrice (The Empress) is a Parisian group of six musicians Charles de Boisseguin (the group’s founder and keyboards), Hagni Gwon (keyboards), David Gaugué (bass guitar), Achille Trocellier (electric guitar), Tom Daveau (drums), and Flore Benguigui (vocals), who joined the band in 2015.

L’Impératrice keeps the taste for dance and groove placed on a virtuoso bass, vintage synths, and glittery melodies.

After the release of their 2021 album “Tako Tsubo,” the album earned them the Grand Prix du répertoire Sacem for export, a nomination at the Victoires de la Musique, a world tour in Europe, the United States and Mexico, and two dates in the very selective Coachella festival.
