Megan Thee Stallion is taking a break from releasing any new music until she is in a better place after recent events!

The 28-year-old rapper was recently involved in an incident which led to her being injured by a gun shot. Allegedly rapper/singer Tory Lanez was the perpetrator and has since been convicted. The official charges are: assault with a semiautomatic firearm, carrying a loaded, unregistered firearm in a vehicle, and discharging a firearm with gross negligence.
Megan says she is mentally and physically healing from the event and the lengthy trial, putting her focus on just getting to a “better place”. Loyal fans all over will miss Megan’s presence but are optimistic about the budding star and want nothing more than for her to feel at her absolute best.
