R&B singer Ne-Yo is a daddy for the second time. The “One in a Million” hit maker and girlfriend Monyetta Shaw welcomed their second baby early this week; sadly the gender and name of the baby have yet to be released, but Ne-Yo has always been open about his love of being a dad. “(My daughter) definitely knows her worth, which is a beautiful thing. That’s something I’ve tried to instill in her from day one: understand that you are a Godsend,” Ne-Yo said of the values he’s teaching his kids. “You’re an absolute angel, and people are supposed to treat you that way. She’s extremely diva even at 10 months.”
The couple’s second baby comes less than a year after they welcomed daughter Madilyn Grace in November 2010 and how can we forget one of the most moving tweets in 2010 after Madilyn was born, when the R&B star tweeted “Feels like I’m in luv for the first time…welcoming that lil’ girl to the world last night defined for me what ‘willing to kill and die for’ truly means. My world, my life, all hers.
Congratulations to the happy parents!

Monkeypox Vaccines Being Rolled Out Nationwide As Case Numbers Rise
Over 11,000 cases of Monkeypox have now been recorded in the US, with the largest number of individuals infected residing in California, Florida, and New York. Since the first case was detected in Massachusetts on May 18th, this disease has now spread across the country and CDC officials have shared that it may be too late to significantly stop the spread. The Jynneos vaccine, which was developed in 2019 to prevent monkeypox and smallpox, is now being administered in certain areas to those who are over 18 years old and meet certain criteria.
