New Beyoncé Album “Renaissance” Dropping in July

After six long years of anticipation, Beyoncé finally announced the release of her next full-length album, “Renaissance.” Fans have been speculating about the eventual music drop following a hint on the BeyGOOD Foundation’s Twitter account, which is Queen Bey’s nonprofit, and now it has been confirmed in a Columbia Records Instagram post captioned “Beyoncé RENAISSANCE July 29.”

While not many details about the content of the album have been dropped yet, Beyoncé has changed her Instagram bio to include the album name, release date, as well as “act i,” signifying that this may be only the first part of a two-section drop. In addition, she has shared seven stunning Instagram posts from her British Vogue July 2022 issue, where she is dressed in stunning vibrant and metallic outfits that all give off futuristic vibes.

For those who are interested in fan merchandise, Beyoncé’s website displays a

“Renaissance Box Set” is available for pre-order that includes a collectible box with a booklet and mini-poster, a t-shirt, and a CD. While the website displays the shirt as a mirror-like silver color, the fine print reads that the cover artwork and tee design will be revealed later, presumably closer to the album release date.

Beyoncé’s last release was in 2020 of a visual album “Black is King” following her voicing of Nala in “The Lion King” remake in 2019. However, her 2016 album “Lemonade” was her last full-length solo album, adding to the anticipation of Beyoncé fans regarding the release of “Renaissance” in a month.

Considering that a teaser trailer was only posted one week before “Lemonade” dropped in April of 2016, fans must be on the lookout for clues to the content of this new album, and possible features on each of the songs. While all major recording artists have large, dedicated fan bases, those who are part of the “Beyhive” fan base are a different breed of fans, making for an even bigger celebration of this new music release and investigation into the specifics of what “Renaissance” will contain.
