How Music Helps the ADHD Brain Focus

Music is beneficial to our well-being in more ways than one, and I’m sure most people could attest to that. When it comes to studying for those finals or concentrating on an important task, music can help some but may serve as a loud distraction for others. However, for those of us with ADHD, music can help us concentrate more than we may know–and that’s thanks to our unique neurological makeup, which reacts exceptionally well to patterns and sensory-engaging stimuli. So, how can music help, and what type of music helps? Below are some of the ways it can help, along with input from leading ADHD experts.

Beyoncé Makes History Becoming the Most Awarded Artist in Grammy History

Beyoncé won Best R&B Song for “CUFF IT,” but she wasn’t there to receive her award as she was “stuck in LA traffic” Trever Noah stated. Instead, the diva’s longtime collaborator, The-Dream, leapt onstage to claim her Best R&B Song award for “Cuff It.” And while his brief, rude remarks were hardly befitting to the Grammy queen, thankfully, Noah and a surprise recipient swooped in to keep things classy.

    Beyoncé Announces ‘Renaissance’ World Tour

This is not a drill: Beyoncé is heading on tour.

On Wednesday, the superstar singer announced her eagerly awaited “Renaissance World Tour” is coming with a post on her verified Instagram account. On her official site, she states that the tour will kick off in Stockholm, Sweden, in May and span Europe before hitting Philadelphia in July. Currently, the tour concludes in New Orleans at Caesars Superdome in September. A tour announcement for Beyoncé’s seventh album, “Renaissance,” was long anticipated by her devoted fan base, the Bey Hive. In 2018, she and her husband, rapper Jay-Z, toured 48 cities across North America and Europe as part of the “On the Run II” tour.

Miley Cyrus’s Single ‘Flowers’ Becomes Most-Streamed Song on Spotify for Two Week

Earlier this week (Jan. 26), Miley Cyrus’ “Flowers” surpassed the top streamed song in Spotify history for a second time. As Spotify announced on Twitter, “It’s official…@MileyCyrus broke the record for the most streams in a single week with #Flowers.”. It was the first week in January that Spotify shared specific numbers for the hit single. Cyrus managed to outdo herself for a second consecutive week after also debuting at No. 1 in the previous frame, making it all the more impressive that she managed to outdo herself for the second consecutive week.

Unique Independent Artists from Around the World

I am an advent Spotify user, and one thing Spotify helped me with was discovering new talents and artists from around the world.
We live in a Hollywood-saturated industry, and it’s often so hard to find good non-American artists.
This is a shame because diverse artists will open our minds and ears to new instrumentals, kinds of music, and melodies. These are my favorite artists from around the world who offer truly unique talents.

Shakira Realized Ex Allegedly Cheated Due to Jam Jar, Referenced in Music Video with Head in Fridge

Shakira fans believe the singer realized her ex Gerard Pique was cheating on her when she returned to their home from touring to find an empty jar of strawberry jam. She eats strawberry jam, but her husband and kids reportedly do not like it. The Columbian singer also seemingly referenced the incriminating jam in a music video she released around the time of their split last year that shows the disembodied head of her collaborator on the song “Te Felicito” inside a refrigerator that she opens.
