Overnight Oats

Want to save time for breakfast and still get something healthy and feel full to eat? Try some Overnight Oats!  We all know that oats are loaded with bunches of nutrients like fiber, protein, magnesium, and potassium, providing energy and driving away hunger. And they don’t contain added sugar which is friendly to people who want to keep in shape or lose weight. So what is good with overnight oats? After being soaked all night, it is easier to digest and the starches in oats can be broken down which reduces the natural phytic acid, and then our bodies can utilize the oat’s nutrients much more efficiently. What’s more, the taste of oats becomes better after being put in the freezer overnight since they will have more of a pudding taste. And certainly, you can make various versions of overnight oats by putting in different fruits and nuts to make them taste even better!
Here are some ingredients you may consider for your overnight oats:

·   1/4 cup quick oats

·   1/2 cup unsweetened Almond Breeze Original Almond Milk, or skim soy

·   1/4 medium banana or any other fruit, sliced (freeze the rest for smoothies!)

·   1/2 tbsp chia seeds

·   1/2 cup blueberries

·   4-5 drops your favorite sweetener

·   pinch cinnamon

Enjoy Your Overnight Oats!
