Reggaeton Artist of the Month for September 2021

Juan Carlos Ozuna Rosado, who goes by Ozuna, is a 29-year-old Reggaeton Artist. His career has spanned from 2012 to the present.

Another term used to describe his music genre is Latin Trap, which originates in Puerto Rico, where Ozuna is from. He has collaborated with other popular Reggaeton Artists, including J Balvin and Daddy Yankee, as well as American artists such as Cardi B and Becky G. This has allowed him to spread his influence outside Puerto Rico and move more internationally.

Ozuna has been called the “New King of Reggaeton,” recently, as he has put a new spin on the formerly established genre. He shares are more intimate experience of his personal life and struggles, as common in trap music, but incorporates this into the Latin style music.

Ozuna has said in the past, “I’m not doing music for everybody to call me ‘The King,’” He says he makes music because it is what he loves to do and he wants to provide it for his fans.
