Pants Need Zippers On The Ankle

One time, I went shopping and saw a pair of pants that had a zipper down each ankle. I thought it was strange, but I bought them anyway, and now other pants just aren’t the same. Here is why the ankle zipper is the coolest addition to pants.

If you are ever wearing pants and are hot, the zipper allows an instant conversion to wearing shorts without needing to change outfits; you just unzip and roll up. This is way more stylish than just wearing regular shorts, and it will cause a lot of people to look and comment. Not only are you comfortable in different temperatures, but you’ll also be getting attention for your fashion choices.

Additionally, the length is negotiable. If you just want a little ankle showing, that’s great. If you want the whole knee out, that works too. It can be adjusted to different lengths without having to buy ten different cuts.

They are great with boots too. If you are the type that prefers wearing the boots under the pants, you can unzip so the boots fit, and the world can still get a sneak peek of those books from the side. You don’t have to stifle the shoe.

Finally, the zipper ankles settle the entire debate about when to put socks on. Some put their socks on after their pants, while others have to put the socks on first. Well, now it doesn’t matter! You can put the pants on and zip right over the socks whenever you’re ready.

This may seem a little dramatic, but I firmly stand by ankle zippers being the way of the future.
