Singer/songwriter Piri and her producer Tommy Villiers started their young journey. After going on a date while attending university in Manchester, United Kingdom, the duo decided to join forces and create music. They initially bonded over their mutual love for artists like Kaytranada and Charli XCX and shortly after released music similar to those same artists.

Piri and Tommy’s electronic dance yet pop sound quickly gained traction on apps like TikTok and Twitter. Although still considered an underground artist, Piri has skyrocketed to Spotify’s viral charts with their song “Soft Spot,” clocking in over seven million streams on the app. Because of their rise in fame and listeners, the duo recently announced that they are going on tour in the U.K. this summer.
